"Powstanie Warszawskie" docenione w USA


Polski dokument zmontowany spośród archiwalnych kronik z Powstania Warszawskiego otrzymał w Hollywood nagrodę dla najlepiej opracowanego dźwiękowo filmu dokumentalnego.

Reżyserowie i montażyści dźwięku też przyznają swoje doroczne nagrody (Golden Reel Awards). Wśród laureatów znalazły się m.in. "Birdman", "Niezłomny", "Get On Up", "Newsroom", "Gra o tron", "Fargo". W tym wybitnym gronie znalazło się też miejsce dla polskiego "Powstania Warszawskiego". Z myślą o zagranicznym widzu i amerykańskich festiwalach filmowych powstała specjalna wersja filmu pod tytułem "Warsaw Uprising". Do współpracy przy jej przygotowaniu zaproszony został reżyser Władysław Pasikowski. Do oryginalnego scenariusza dołączono postać amerykańskiego dziennikarza, któremu dwójka głównych bohaterów tłumaczy to, co dzieje się w Warszawie. Polski film był w gronie pełnometrażowych dokumentów zabiegających o Oscary, ale nominacji nie otrzymał. Dziś cieszy za to nagroda za pracę zespołu dźwiękowców pod kierownictwem Bartosza Putkiewicza i Kacpra Habisiaka.
