Polacy w gronie nowych członków Akademii


Akademia Sztuki i Wiedzy Filmowej (lub jak kto woli Amerykańska Akademia Filmowa) do swojego grona przyjęła 322 nowych członków. W tym gronie znalazło się sporo polskich twórców, w tym między innymi Paweł Pawlikowski, tegoroczny zdobywca Oscara w kategorii Film Nieanglojęzyczny. Nie jemu jednak media poświęcają najwięcej miejsca, bowiem do Akademii zaproszono takie sławy jak m.in. Tom Hardy, Benedict Cumberbatch czy Emma Stone.

Akademia przyjęła rekordową liczbę nowych członków. Od lat bowiem za jednym razem nie zaproszono w jej szeregi tak wiele osób. W zeszłym roku było to 271 osób, a zwykle wcześniej przyjmowano po około 100 osób. Spory więc progres.

Nas oczywiście najbardziej cieszy dołączenie do grona członków Akademii Pawła Pawlikowskiego, twórcę "Idy". Znając jednak jego stosunek do Hollywood, można się zastanawiać czy jego samego to zaproszenie też jakoś specjalnie obchodzi :). Zresztą Polaków mamy w gronie Akademii znacznie więcej. Są tutaj także: Ryszard Lenczewski, Łukasz Żal (obaj nominowani za zdjęcia do "Idy"), jest także Jarosław Kamiński – montażysta m.in. "Pokłosia" i "Idy" oraz pracująca w USA autorka kostiumów Kasia Walicka Maimone.

Nie są oni jedynym przedstawicielami zagranicznego kina w tym roku. Do Akademii dołączyli też m.in.: Andriej Zwiagincew, Zaza Urushadze czy Abderrahmane Sissako. Są też brytyjscy reżyserzy Edgar Wright i Joe Wright oraz niezależni twórcy amerykańscy Kelly Reichardt, Ira Sachs, Lynn Shelton. Z drugiej strony mamy wielkich twórców kina rozrywkowego Jamesa Gunna ("Strażnicy galaktyki") oraz Justina Lina ("Szybcy i wściekli 6").

Nowymi członkami Akademii zostali oczywiście aktorscy zdobywcy tegorocznych Oscarów - Eddie Redmayne i J.K. Simmons, ale znanych gwiazd Hollywood przyjętych w szeregi tej organizacji jest znacznie więcej: Benedict Cumberbatch, David Oyelowo, Chris Pine, Tom Hardy, Elizabeth Banks, Emma Stone. W tym roku pojawiło się sporo doświadczonych aktorów, którzy zostali przyjęci do Akademii: Stephen Lang ("Avatar"), Kevin Hart, Jason Segel, Martin Freeman, Felicity Jones, Daniel Radcliffe.

Lista nowych członków obejmuje przedstawicieli wielu zawodów. Znalazł się tutaj między innymi szef Netflixa Ted Sarandos oraz szef NBC Steve Burke. Pojawiło się wielu reżyserów i to z egzotycznych miejsc: Joon-ho Bong (Snowpiercer) z Korei Południowej, Damian Szifron (Dzikie historie) z Argentyny oraz dokumentaliści Mathilde Bonnefoy (producentka i montażystka "Citizenfour") czy  Ondi Timoner (twórca nadchodzącego "Brand: A Second Coming").

Wśród nowych członków Akademii są też: John Legend i Common (twórcy oscarowej piosenki "Glory"), Graham Moore (scenariusz "Gry tajemnic"), Nicolas Giacobone i Armando Bo (obaj tworzyli "Birdmana") oraz montażysta Tom Cross ("Whiplash").

Pamiętać jednak należy, że otrzymanie nominacji wcale nie gwarantuje przyjęcia do Akademii. Ona sama jest podzielona na 17 oddziałów i ma swoje kryteria na podstawie których przyjmowani są nowi członkowie. Trzeba mieć osiągnięcia i doświadczenie.
