„Spotlight” z Gotham Award. Będzie Oscar?

Pierwsze nagrody filmowe w USA powędrowały do twórców kina niezależnego. Gotham Award to pierwsze zwiastowanie oscarowych wydarzeń. Najlepszym niezależnym filmem roku został „Spotlight”.

Już po raz 25 wręczono Gotham Award. Wśród zdobywców nagród honorowych znaleźli się Robert Redford i Helen Mirren. „Spotlight” zdobył nagrodę dla najlepszego filmu roku, wyróżnienie za scenariusz oraz dla całego zespołu aktorskiego. Publiczność doceniała film „Mandarynka”. Mający najwięcej nominacji “The Diary of a Teenage Girl” otrzymał tylko jedną nagrodę. Wśród seriali wybrał „Mr. Robot”.

„Spotlight” to film o śledztwie dziennikarzy amerykańskich, którzy w Bostonie opisali liczne przypadki molestowania seksualnego dzieci przez księży katolickich. Film w polskich kinach pojawić ma się pod koniec lutego 2016 roku.
