Nagrody Critics’ Choice prawie jak Złote Globy

[SEZON NAGRÓD 2017/2018] Broadcast Film Critics Assn. and Broadcast Television Journalists Assn. ogłosiły laureatów swoich dorocznych nagród Critics’ Choice. W dużej części wyglądają one jak finałowe rozdanie Złotych Globów. Triumfatorem Critics’ Choice został film „Kształt wody”.

I to jest ta zdecydowana i praktycznie jedyna z nielicznych większych różnic pomiędzy obiema nagrodami. Critics’ Choice dla najlepszego filmu zdobył „Kształt wody”, a „Trzy billboardy za Ebbing, Missouri” przegrał jeszcze w kategorii doceniającej najlepszy scenariusz, gdzie nagrody otrzymały „Uciekaj!” oraz „Tamte dni, tamte noce”. Poza tymi Critics’ Choice otrzymali m.in.: Guillermo del Toro za reżyserię, Gary Oldman, Frances McDormand, Sam Rockwell, Allison Jannes za role aktorskie i większość produkcji telewizyjnych i ich twórców docenionych Globami. W kategorii filmów zagranicznych obie nagrody zdobył „W ułamku sekundy”, w kategorii doceniającej najlepsze animacje „Coco” ponownie pokonało „Twojego Vincenta”.

Critics’ Choice przyznaje też nagrody w kategoriach technicznych i tutaj wypatrywać należy ciekawego finału nagród. Za najlepszą obsadę doceniono „Trzy billboardy…”, za zdjęcia „Blade Runner 2049”, za kostiumy „Nić widmo”, za montaż „Baby Driver”, za efekty specjalne „Wojnę o Planetę Małp”. Trochę różnic było wśród filmów komediowych, gdzie wygrał film „I tak cię kocham”. Najlepszy film akcji to „Wonder Woman”, a najlepsze science fiction to „Uciekaj!”.
