animowane firmowane przez Walt Disney Company zdobyły w sumie 42 nominacje do
Nagród Annie – w kategoriach kinowych i telewizyjnych. To najważniejsze w
Hollywood wyróżnienia podsumowujące rok w animacji. „Iniemamocni 2” zdobyli 11
nominacji, a „Ralph Demolka w internecie” ma ich 10. O tytuł najlepszej
animacji rywalizują także: „Jaskiniowiec”, „Wyspa psów” i „Spider-Man Uniwersum”.
Niestety wśród najlepszych
niezależnych filmów animowanych (to kategoria, gdzie zauważane są zagraniczne
animacje) nie znalazł się polsko-hiszpański „Jeszcze dzień życia”. Znalazły się
zaś tutaj m.in. wysoko cenione: „Mirai” i „Tito and the Birds”. W tym roku po
raz pierwszy przyznane zostaną Nagrody Annie dla produkcji VR. Laureatów
wszystkich nagród poznamy 1 lutego 2018.
