Gildia Scenarzystów nominuje za filmy i gry

[SEZON NAGRÓD 2018/2019] Gildia Scenarzystów Amerykańskich (Writers Guild Awards) ogłosiła nominacje do swoich dorocznych nagród. Nie mogą o nią rywalizować niektóre prace, które nie mają certyfikatu WGA, ale i tak nominacje te przyjmowane są z zainteresowaniem.

Nominacje WGA i nominacje do Oscara w scenariuszowych kategoriach różnią się czasami dość znacznie. W tym roku WGA wykluczyła ze swoich zmagań m.in. „Faworytę” i „Zimną wojnę”, bowiem scenariusze te – jak wiele innych – nie powstały na bazie porozumienia z Gildią Scenarzystów, a tylko takie mogą otrzymać nominacje do ich nagród.

Wśród tegorocznych nominowanych do nagród WGA nie brakuje faworytów oscarowych. Wśród scenariuszy oryginalnych znalazły się m.in.: zwycięzca Złotego Globu „Green Book, mocny jego konkurent „Roma” oraz ku radości wielbicieli kina gatunkowe "Ciche miejsce". W gronie scenariuszy adaptowanych znalazły się m.in.: „Narodziny gwiazdy”, „BlacKkKlansman” oraz komiksowa „Czarna Pantera”. Jeśli chodzi o filmy dokumentalne to nominowano nowe przedsięwziecie Michaela Moore’a, a wśród gier m.in. ostatnie odsłony „Spider-Mana” i „God of War”.
