„Green Book” najlepszym filmem roku

[SEZON NAGRÓD 2018/2019] Gildia Producentów Amerykańskich przyznała swoje doroczne nagrody. Za najlepszą produkcję 2018 roku uznano „Green Book”. Film ten zdobył też niedawno Złoty Glob, co stawia go w gronie głównych faworytów tegorocznych Oscarów.

W ciągu poprzednich 29 edycji nagród Gildii Producentów, aż 20 razy organizacja ta typowała najlepszy film podobnie jak Amerykańska Akademia Filmowa. Taka sytuacja miała miejsce przed rokiem kiedy obie nagrody wygrywał „Kształt wody”, ale w edycjach 2015 i 2016 takiej zgodności już nie było. Nagrody Gildii zdobywały odpowiednio „The Big Short” i „La La Land”, a Oscary otrzymywały „Spotlight” i „Moonlight”. „Green Book” zdobywa świetne recenzje, wśród jego wyróżnień jest nagroda publiczności na festiwalu w Toronto. Polska premiera zapowiadana jest na 8 lutego. Z wygranej „Green Book” szczególnie cieszy się produkcyjne studio Universal, które nie wygrywało głównych nagród od kilku dekad i czasu triumfów „Pięknego umysłu”.

Tegoroczną nagrodę Gildii Producentów dla najlepszej animacji otrzymał „Spider-Man Uniwersum”. Wśród pełnometrażowych dokumentów wygrał „Won’t You Be My Neighbor?”. W kategoriach telewizyjnych nie było niespodzianek i wyróżnienia Gildii zdobyły m.in.: „Zawód: Amerykanin”, „The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel”, „The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story”.
