„Roma” wygrywa ważne Critics 'Choice Awards

[SEZON NAGRÓD 2018/2019] „Roma” zdobyła najważniejsze nagrody Critics 'Choice, przyznawane przez Broadcast Film Critics Assn. Film Alfonso Cuarona pokonał m.in. „Zimną wojnę” w rywalizacji o tytuł najlepszego filmu nieanglojęzycznego.

„Roma” otrzymała tytuł najlepszego filmu, a Cuaron zdobył też nagrody za reżyserię i zdjęcia. W sumie jego film otrzymał cztery nagrody. Dwie nagrody otrzymał Christian Bale, za rolę w „Vice”, a doceniono go za najlepszą kreację i najlepszą kreację komediową. Glenn Close i Lady Gaga podzieliły się wyróżnieniem dla najlepszej aktorki, a ta druga zdobyła też nagrodę za najlepszą piosenkę. Wśród scenariuszy doceniono Paula Schradera za „First Reformed”. Za najlepszą komedię uznano „Bajecznie bogatych Azjatów”, a najlepszy film akcji to „Mission Impossible: Fallout”. „Ciche miejsce” to najlepszy horror, a „Spider-Man Uniwersum” to najlepsza animacja. W kategoriach telewizyjnych wygrał serial „Zawód: Amerykanin”.
