„Zimna wojna” nominowana do Cezara

„Zimna wojna” znalazła się w gronie siedmiu filmów nominowanych do Cezara w kategorii Najlepszy Film Zagraniczny. Nie ma w tym gronie „Romy”, co jest konsekwencją konfliktu Netflixa z francuskimi kiniarzami, ale i tak konkurencja jest bardzo mocna.

„Zimna wojna” rywalizowała będzie ze znaczącymi przedstawicielami kina światowego. Obok polskiego filmu nominacje otrzymały także: „Trzy billboardy za Ebbing, Missouri”, „Kafernaum”, „Girl”, „Hannah”, „Our Struggles” i „Shoplifters”.

Bardzo dużo nominacji do Cezarów otrzymał western Jacquesa Audiarda „Bracia Sisters”, który zdobył ich aż dziewięć. Film ten w zeszłym roku otrzymał Srebrnego Niedźwiedzia na festiwalu w Wenecji. O jedną więcej nominacji otrzymał film „Jeszcze nie koniec” (Custody), dramat rozwodowy, który w Wenecji otrzymał Srebrnego Lwa w roku 2017. 10 nominacji otrzymał również film „Sink or Swim”.

O tytuł najlepszego francuskiego filmu rywalizowały będą: „Memoir of War”, „The Trouble With You”, „Bracia Sisters”, „Sink or Swim”, „Guy”, „Jeszcze nie koniec” (Custody) i „In Safe Hands”. Nagrodę za całokształt twórczości otrzyma Robert Redford. Kristin Scott Thomas poprowadzi galę wręczenia nagród. Do Cezarów zakwalifikowano w tym roku 226 filmów, na nominacje i nagrody głosuje 4303 członków Francuskiej Akademii Filmowej. Cezary zostaną wręczone 22 lutego w Paryżu.
