Cannes 2019. Kolejne sekcje festiwalu

An Easy Girl

Ogłoszono filmowy repertuar kolejnych sekcji, które towarzyszą 72. festiwalowi w Cannes. Poznaliśmy tytuły, które pojawią się w sekcjach Directors' Fortnight i Critics’ Week. W obu nie ma polskich filmów.

Po raz 51 odbędą się prezentacje w ramach Directors' Fortnight, a będą miały one miejsce od 15 do 25 maja. Europa zdominowała tę sekcję, ale najwięcej emocji budzą oczywiście bardzo znane nazwiska. Swoje nowe filmy zaprezentują tutaj Lav Diaz, Bertrand Bonello, Rebecca Zlotowski i Takashi Miike. Będzie miał tutaj premierę film Lecha Kowalskiego, amerykańskiego reżysera polskiego pochodzenia, który nakręcił film dla… Francji. Aż 16 z 24 twórców zadebiutuje na festiwalu w Cannes. 14 filmów pochodzi z Europy, w tym 6 z Francji. Filmem otwarcia będzie „Deerskin” w reżyserii Quentina Dupieuxa. W sekcji tej zaprezentowany zostanie nowy film Roberta Rodrigueza oraz średniometrażowy film Luki Guadagnino.

Od 15 do 23 maja potrwają prezentacje w sekcji Critics’ Week. Siedem filmów weźmie udział w konkursie, a pięć z nich to debiuty. Oceni je jury pod przewodnictwem Ciro Guerry. Wśród konkursowych tytułów jest nowy film Hlynura Pálmasona, autora „Zimowych braci”.
