Netflix przedstawił listę filmów,
które wyprodukuje w 2020 roku. Po zeszłorocznych sukcesach „Irlandczyka", „Historii
małżeńskich” i „Dwóch papieży” (ale też mnóstwa mniej udanych filmów), w przedstawionych tytułach na 2020 rok należy upatrywać wielu filmowych wydarzeń. Są tutaj zapewne kandydaci do Oscarów 2021, a
lista nazwisk zaangażowana przez Netflix robi duże wrażenie.
Netflix do tej pory skrywał
informacje na temat planowanych filmów, ale wygląda na to, że zmienił swoje
podejście i już na wiele miesięcy przed premierą i jeszcze w okresach
produkcyjnych podaje swoje flagowe produkcje filmowe na 2020 roku. Będzie ich w
tym sezonie aż 29, ale nie wiadomo które z nich oficjalnie trafią do obiegu
festiwalowego i kinowego. Lista nazwisk stojących za tymi filmami jest bardzo
ciekawa.
Jest tutaj na przykład „Mank”
Davida Finchera, nie tylko mój faworyt w 2020 roku. Historia powstawania
scenariusza do „Obywatela Kane’a”. Swój film dla Netflixa realizuje Spike Lee.
Charlie Kaufman ekranizuje „I’m Thinking of Ending Things”, a autorem zdjęć do
filmu jest Łukasz Żal. Powstanie nowa adaptacja „Rebecki”, którą kiedyś
przeniósł do kin Alfred Hitchcock, a którą teraz realizuje niepokorny Ben
Wheatley. Ron Howard ekranizuje “Hillbilly Elegy”. Producentami wykonawczymi
filmu “Crip Camp” są były prezydent Barack Obama i jego żona Michelle Obama.
Chris Hemsworth wystąpi w filmie akcji “Out of the Fire”, a wielu innych
