„Klaus” i Polacy docenieni Annie Awards

[SEZON NAGRÓD 2019/2020] Netflix zdominował tegoroczne Nagrody Annie, najważniejsze wyróżnienia przyznawane produkcjom animowanym. Firma ta zdobyła aż 19 nagród, a najważniejsze z nich otrzymały „Klaus” i „I Lost My Body”. Ten pierwszy powstał z udziałem Polaków.

Hiszpański „Klaus” zdobył siedem nagród, w tym tę najważniejszą za najlepszy film animowany i w sumie otrzymał wszystkie nagrody, w których zdobył nominacje. Wśród docenionych znaleźli się dwaj Polacy pracujący przy tym filmie, dyrektorzy artystyczni i autorzy projektów graficznych (scenografia) Szymon Biernacki i Marcin Jakubowski. "Klaus" pokonał m.in.: "Toy Story 4", "Praziomka" i "Krainę lodu II".

Za najlepszą niezależną animację uznano francuski „I Lost My Body” (Zgubiłem swoje ciało), a film doceniono też za muzykę i scenariusz. Antologia animacji „Love, Death & Robots” otrzymała cztery nagrody. Disney otrzymał pięć nagród Annie, w tym za animację postaci w „Avengers: Koniec gry”.

Nie wiadomo, jak nagrody Annie wpłynąć mogą na Oscary. „Klaus” i „I Lost My Body” są w gronie najlepszych pełnometrażowych animacji.
