Visual Effects Society,
organizacja skupiająca twórców efektów wizualnych, przyznała swoje doroczne
nominacje. Na ich czele znajdują się „Gra o tron”, „Mandalorian”, „Alita:
Battle Angel” oraz „Toy Story 4”. Wśród nominowanych są też Polacy, pracujący
przy dużych projektach.
Za najlepsze efekty wizualne w
filmie fabularnych doceniono twórców pracujących przy: “Alita: Battle Angel”, “Avengers:
Endgame”, “Gemini Man”, “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” i “The Lion King”.
To dla tych filmów należy spodziewać się w poniedziałek nominacji do Oscara.
Akademia lubi jednak zaskakiwać w tej kategorii i docenia często efekty
drugoplanowe, a te doceniono w filmach: “1917”, “Ford v. Ferrari”, “Joker”, “The
Aeronauts”, “The Irishman”.
Wśród nominowanych są też Polacy.
Za pracę przy pełnometrażowej animacji zatytułowanej „Klaus” dostrzeżeni
zostali Szymon Biernacki oraz Marcin Jakubowski, pełniący przy tej produkcji
funkcję dyrektorów artystycznych. Za animację postaci Dexa w reklamie docenieni
zostali Marek Madej i Grzegorz Chojnacki, pracujący nad grą “Cyberpunk 2077”.
