Organizatorzy 50. Rotterdam International Film Festival (IFFR) przedstawili program swojego wydarzenia. W jednej z sekcji znalazł się „Sweat” Magnusa von Horna. Jednym z wydarzeń festiwalu w Rotterdamie będzie pokaz „Riders Of Justice” w reżyserii Andersa Thomasa Jensena z Madsem Mikkelsenem w głównej roli. Ten film otworzy festiwal w Rotterdamie.
Festiwal w Rotterdamie zmuszony został zmienić swój charakter. W dniach 1-7 lutego 2021 odbędzie się hybrydowa prezentacja filmów konkursowych, a w dniach 2-6 czerwca odbędzie się tradycyjna i fizyczna edycja festiwalu. 7 lutego poznamy laureatów nagród.
W tegorocznym konkursie festiwalu pojawi się 16 filmów, z czego 14 będzie miało w Rotterdamie swoje światowe premiery. W konkursie Big Screen znajduje się kolejnych 15 tytułów, które mają wypełnić lukę między kinem popularnym a kinem artystycznym. Natomiast w niekonkursowej sekcji Limelight znajdzie się 13 tytułów, z których większość była prezentowana na innych festiwalach. I właśnie w tej sekcji znalazł się „Sweat” Magnus von Horna oraz „Aida” Jasmili Žbanić (to także polska koprodukcja). „Sweat” będzie miał w Rotterdamie swoją międzynarodową premierę.
