Saturny 2021. Najlepsze SF, horrory i fantasy

[SEZON NAGRÓD FILMOWYCH 2020/2021] Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films ogłosiła po raz 46 nominacje do swoich dorocznych nagród. Najwięcej nominacji zdobyła IX część „Gwiezdnych wojen”, ale wśród seriali znalazło się też miejsce dla „Wiedźmina”. W końcu!

Serial „Wiedźmin” od Netfliksa zdecydowanie nie zyskuje uznania branży i większość nagród nie zauważyła tej produkcji. Zmienili to organizatorzy wydarzenia, które docenia produkcje science fiction, horrory i fantasy, którzy nominowali „Wiedźmina” w kilku kategoriach, w tym dla najlepszej telewizyjnej produkcji fantasy, za role Henry’ego Cavila i Freya Allan.

W nominacjach przewodzą „Gwiezdne wojny. Skywalker: Odrodzenie” z 12 szansami na nagrody. Choć film jest nieco starszy, jak wiele innych nominowanych produkcji, ubieganie się o Saturny umożliwiło mu zmienienie kryteriów kwalifikacji. Dziewięć nominacji do Saturnów zdobył „Tenet”, osiem „Doktor Sen”. Są nominacje dla „Parasite”, „Pewnego razu w… Hollywood”, „Jokera” i „1917”. Najwięcej nominacji wśród producentów zdobył Warner Bros. ubiegający się o 34 nagrody, Disney ma 27 nominacji, a Netflix 25. Kino Lorber przewodzi wśród wydawców Blu-ray i słusznie, bo ma ono na koncie wiele znakomitych produkcji. Nagrody wręczone zostaną jeszcze w tym roku, ale dokładna data nie jest znana.
