Finaliści USC Scripter Awards

USC Scripter Awards przyznawane są za najlepsze scenariusze będące adaptacjami istniejących materiałów literackich. W tym roku o nagrodę tę zabiegają m.in. „Diuna” i „Tragedia Makbeta”.

Wiele razy zdarzało się, że nominacje i laureaci tych nagród znajdowali się w gronie kandydatów do nominacji do Oscara za scenariusz adaptowany. USC Scripter Awards przyznawane są już od 34 lat. Przed rokiem wyróżnienie to otrzymał „Nomadland”, ale Oscara otrzymał „Ojciec”. W latach poprzednich USC Scripter Awards zdobywali twórcy scenariuszy do takich filmów, jak m.in.: „Call Me By Your Name”, „Moonlight”, „The Big Short” i „The Imitation Game”, które potem zdobyły Oscary.

Tegoroczna komisja selekcyjna wybrała tegorocznych finalistów spośród 69 adaptacji filmowych i 42 telewizyjnych. Laureatów tegorocznych nagród poznamy 26 lutego.
