Wydarzenie to zorganizowane zostało w ramach World Soundtrack Awards i podczas festiwalu w Gandawie 22 października, poznamy laureata tej nagrody. W gronie nominowanych do nagrody publiczności za najlepszą muzykę jest między innymi Bartosz Chajdecki doceniony za kompozycje do „Mistrza”. O nagrodę rywalizuje zaś około stu kompozycji i praktycznie jest to cała czołówka światowej muzyki filmowej, w tym m.in. Bartosz Chajdecki to autor muzyki do filmów fabularnych, dokumentalnych, seriali telewizyjnych oraz spektakli teatralnych w Polsce i za granicą. W jego dorobku znajdują się m.in.: "Bogowie", "Najlepszy", "Chce się żyć", "Jestem mordercą", "Moje córki krowy", "Prosta historia o morderstwie", "Baczyński", "Tiere", "The Last Witness", "Le temps d'Anna" oraz seriale "Kruk", "Misja Afganistan", "Chyłka", "Behawiorysta", "Wojenne dziewczyny" i "Czas Honoru”, za który w 2010 roku został nominowany do nagrody IFMCA za najlepszą muzykę do serialu telewizyjnego. W 2019 roku podczas Festiwalu Muzyki Filmowej w Krakowie, kompozytor otrzymał nagrodę za najlepszą Polską Ścieżkę Dźwiękową Roku dla serialu „Kruk. Szepty słychać po zmroku”, w 2021 roku został uhonorowany Grand Prix Komeda za muzykę do filmu "Mistrz".
