Stowarzyszenie Hollywoodzkich Krytyków Filmowych podsumowało pierwszą połowę 2022 roku w kinach. Na razie na ich liście wygrywa film „Wszystko Wszędzie Naraz”. Najlepsze przed nami, więc nie ma co przesądzać (a nie należę do fanów tego filmu). Tylko, że ten szalony film, jest dziś też uznawany za poważnego kandydata do przyszłorocznych Oscarów.
Fajne to podsumowanie półrocza od The Hollywood Critics Association (HCA), bo pokazuje tytuły, które spodobały się najbardziej. Na liście najlepszych filmów tego okresu znajdują się także: „RRR” (drugie miejsce na liście), „Cha Cha Real Smooth”, „Elvis”, „The Batman”, „The Northman” (Wiking), „The Unbearable Weight Of Massive Talent” (Nieznośny ciężar wielkiego talentu), „Top Gun: Maverick”, „Turning Red” (To nie wypanda).
Krytycy z Hollywood bardzo lubią „Wszystko Wszędzie Naraz”, bo swoimi półrocznymi nagrodami docenili też „Michelle Yeoh”, która gra tutaj główna rolę. Wśród aktorów drugoplanowych wygrał Stephanie Hsu, a wśród aktorek drugoplanowej Ke Huy Quan, także z tego filmu. Bracia Daniels docenieni zostali za najlepszą reżyserię, a po piętach deptał im Joseph Kosinski za „Top Gun: Maverick”. „Wszystko Wszędzie Naraz” wygrał też w kategoriach Najlepszy Scenariusz i Najlepszy Film Niezależny.
Drugą pozycję wśród aktorek pierwszoplanowych zdobyła Emma Thompson za „Powodzenia, Leo Grande”. Najlepszy aktor to Austin Butler, czyli Elvis. Tuż za nim Tom Cruise. „Fresh” to najlepszy horror, a nagrody dla najbardziej oczekiwanych filmów drugiej połowy 2022 roku zdobyły „Nie!” i „Babylon” (drugie miejsce).
