„Film balkonowy” w finałowej 10 Cinema Eye Honors

Kandydatów do nagród Cinema Eye Honors wybierają przedstawiciele dużych festiwali filmów dokumentalnych, a zwycięzców każdego roku wybiera ok. 200 przedstawicieli branży dokumentalnej zaproszonych do głosowania przez Cinema Eye.

Wśród konkurentów filmu Łozińskiego są m.in. „Nothing Compares”, „Fire of Love” (Wulkan miłości), „Navalny” i „The Territory”

Cinema Eye Honors to oczywiście także nominacje w głównych kategoriach. O tytuł najlepszego pełnometrażowego dokumentu zabiegają filmy „All That Breathes”, „All the Beauty and the Bloodshed”, „Fire of Love” (Wulkan miłości), „Navalny”, „A Night of Knowing Nothing” i „The Territory”. Po 7 nominacji zdobyły filmy  „Fire of Love” i „The Territory”, po 6 nominacji mają „All That Breathes”, „All the Beauty and the Bloodshed”.

Na liście nominowanych jest wielu weteranów kina dokumentalnego (Nels Bangerter, Joe Bini, Margaret Brown, Sigrid Dyekjær, Geeta Gandbhir, Nathan Fielder, Monica Hellstrøm, Brett Morgen, Stefan Nadelman, Laura Poitras, Chris Smith, Ondi Timoner, Nanfu Wang, Simon Lereng Wilmont i John Wilson), ale swoje pierwsze nominacje zdobyli m.in.: Judd Apatow, Darren Aronofsky, Diane Becker, Sara Dosa, Jon Favreau, Nicolas Godin, Jeff Goldblum, Jessica Hopper, Rebeca Huntt, Peter Jackson, Payal Kapadia, Rory Kennedy, Alex Pritz, Daniel Roher, Shaunak Sen i Stanley Tucci.
