[SEZON NAGRÓD 2018/2019] „Shoplifters”
zdobył najwięcej nominacji do Asia Pacific Screen Awards, wyróżnień
doceniających filmowe dokonania z obszaru Azji i Pacyfiku. Na liście nominacji
znalazły się też dwie polskie koprodukcje - "Ajka" i "The River".
„Shoplifters” to zdobywca
tegorocznej Złotej Palmy w Cannes i otrzymał trzy nominacje do Asia Pacific
Screen Awards. O tytuł najlepszego filmu roku z tego obszaru rywalizowały będą
także: „Burning” (Korea Południowa), „The Gentle Indifference of the World”
(Kazachstan, Francja), „Balangiga: Howling Wilderness” (Filipiny) i „Manta Ray” (Tajlandia, Chiny, Francja).
Nominacje zdobyły w sumie 46 filmy z 22 krajów. Najwięcej nominacji zdobyły
filmy z Japonii i Chin, w sumie po 7. Australia, Indie i Kazachstan mają po
pięć nominacji. Pierwszą w historii tych nagród zdobył film z Uzbekistanu.
Wśród nominowanych reżyserów,
obok Hirokazu Kore-edy, Nadine Labaki i Bruce’a Beresforda znalazł się Emir
Baigazin doceniony za film „The River”, który jest kazachsko-norwesko-polską
koprodukcją. Wśród nominowanych aktorek znalazła się m.in. Samal Yeslyamova,
która wystąpiła w polskiej koprodukcji zatytułowanej „Ajka” i którą doceniono w
maju główną nagrodą aktorką na festiwalu w Cannes.

listopada.
