Krytycy z Chicago stawiają na „Nomadland”

Nagrody krytyków filmowych z Chicago zdominował „Nomadland” w reżyserii Chloe Zhao. Film ten zdobył w sumie pięć nagród, w tym za reżyserię, scenariusz, zdjęcia i dla Frances McDormand za główną rolę kobiecą.

Krytycy z Chicago uznali Chadwicka Bosemana najlepszym aktorem, doceniając jego występ „Ma Rainey's Black Bottom”. Paul Raci za rolę w „Sound of Metal” i Maria Bakalova za rolę w „Borat Subsequent Moviefilm” zdobyli aktorskie nagrody drugoplanowe. “Wolfwalkers” to najlepsza animacja, “Dick Johnson is Dead” to dokument roku, a „Na rauszu” to najlepszy film zagraniczny. „Mank” zdobył nagrodę za scenografię, „Emma” za kostiumy, „Niewidzialny człowiek” za efekty wizualne, a „Może pora z tym skończyć” za montaż.
