„Zimna wojna” nominowana do Critics’ Choice


Broadcast Film Critics Association (BFCA) ogłosiło nominacje do swoich Critics’ Choice Awards. Wśród nagród krytyków, te wyróżnienia cieszą się znaczącym uznaniem. Najwięcej szans na wygraną ma „Faworyta”, którą nominowano aż 14 razy. W gronie filmów zagranicznych znalazła się „Zimna wojna”.

Broadcast Film Critics Association (BFCA) jest organizacją założoną w 1995 roku, która dziś skupia 250 krytyków zajmujących się tematyką filmową w telewizji, radiu czy internecie. To największa tego typu organizacja w USA i Kanadzie.

Nominacja do Critics’ Choice dla „Zimnej wojny” to duże osiągnięcie, ale konkurentami polskiego filmu są równie wysoko oceniane: „Roma”, „Płomienie”, „Shoplifters” czy „Kafarnaum”.

14 nominacji dla „Faworyty” to oczywiście spore osiągnięcie, ale pamiętać należy że BFCA docenia też filmy w kategoriach gatunkowych. O tytuł najlepszego filmu roku „Faworyta” rywalizować będzie z m.in. „Czarną Panterą”, „Pierwszym człowiekiem”, „Green Book”, „Romą”, „Narodzinami gwiazdy” i „Vice”. W tym właśnie kierunku podążać będą więc zapewne także nominacje do Oscarów. Śmiało mogę założyć, że mimo 14 nominacji to nie „Faworyta” jest faworytem głównych nagród, ale „Roma” czy „Narodziny gwiazdy”.

Laureaci 24 edycji Critics’ Choice znani będą 13 stycznia 2019 roku. Broadcast Film Critics Association (BFCA) ogłosiła też nominacje w kategoriach telewizyjnych.
