Aż 25 nominacji do Emmy otrzymał
serial „The Pitt”, który zdominował tegoroczne rozdanie najbardziej
prestiżowych wyróżnień w świecie seriali.
„The Pitt”, produkcja HBO Max, zdobył 25 nominacji, w tym 13 za role aktorskie. Niewiele mniej, bo 24 nominacji zdobył inny serial HBO Max, czyli „Hacks”, który zdobył największą liczbę nominacji w historii kategorii Komedia. Wcześniej najwięcej nominacji miały seriale komediowe „The Bear” i „Studio”, które miały po 23 nominacje. Gwiazda Jean Smart jest teraz w kolejce do zdobycia piątej nagrody Emmy za ten serial i ósmej w ogóle, co dałoby jej ex aequo tytuł aktorki z największą liczbą nominacji do nagrody Emmy w historii.
Bardzo dobrze wypadł też serial AppleTV „Widow’s Bay”, który otrzymał 19 nominacji. Słynny „Pluribus” otrzymał 18 nominacji, w tym dla Karoliny Wydry za rolę drugoplanową.
Najwięcej nominacji do nagród w kategorii limitowanej/antologicznej zdobyła druga część serialu Netflixa „Beef”, która zdobyła 16 nominacji.
Ogólnie rzecz biorąc, dzięki sukcesowi programów „The Pitt”, „Hacks” i „DTF St. Louis” (13 nominacji), HBO Max zdecydowanie przewodził stawce platform w tym roku, z wynikiem około 122 nominacji (w porównaniu do 142 w zeszłym roku, co było nowym rekordem dla platformy Warner Bros. Discovery).
W tym roku zgłoszono 555 programów w 14 kategoriach, co stanowi spadek o 7,5% w porównaniu z 600 zgłoszeniami w ubiegłym roku. Wśród zgłoszonych programów znalazło się 110 dramatów, 71 komedii, 31 seriali limitowanych/antologicznych, 34 filmy, 18 seriali rozrywkowych i 45 reality show.
