Znani są już laureaci 46. edycji Saturnów, nagród przyznawanych przez organizację skupiającą się na docenianiu filmów gatunkowych. Z powodu pandemii z pewnym opóźnieniem poznaliśmy laureatów (okres kwalifikacji to 15 lipca 2019 – 15 listopada 2020), a najwięcej nagród zdobył ostatni z filmów z serii „Gwiezdne wojny”.
„Gwiezdne wojny: Skywalker. Odrodzenie” otrzymał w sumie pięć nagród, w tym za najlepszy film fantastycznonaukowy, reżyserię J.J. Abramsa i muzykę Johna Williamsa. Warto jednak dodać, że kolejne nagrody zdobyły inne produkcje związane z Gwiezdną Sagą, bowiem doceniono także animowany serial „Wojny Klonów” oraz aktorski serial „Mandalorian”. Kilka wyróżnień zdobył też, doskonale znane, „Na noże” (najlepszy thriller), „Pewnego razu w… Hollywood” (najlepsze fantasy), horror „The Invisible Man”. Wśród filmów międzynarodowych triumfował „Parasite”, a wśród animacji „Onward”. John David Washington otrzymał nagrodę za rolę w „Tenet”, Billa Hadera doceniono za „To 2”, a Anę De Armes za „Na noże”.
Saturny przyznano też w kategoriach telewizyjnych, ale ja zawsze uważnie przyglądam się nagrodom w kategoriach „domowej rozrywki”. „Na noże” to najlepsze wydawnictwo 4K, wśród kolekcjonerskich wydań wygrała „Godzilla: The Showa-Era Films, 1954-1975”. Są też wyróżnienia za dorobek twórczy. Pełna lista nagrodzonych znajduje się poniżej.
