Krytycy z Londynu nagradzają Andersona

Film Paula Thomasa Andersona „Jedna bitwa po drugiej” zdobył cztery nagrody przyznawane przez Koło Londyńskich Krytyków Filmowych, w tym te za najlepszy film roku, reżyserię i scenariusz. Najlepszym filmem brytyjskim/irlandzkim uznano „Pillion”.

Paul Thomas Anderson otrzymał nagrody za reżyserię i scenariusz filmu „Jedna bitwa po drugiej”, doceniono też Seana Penna za rolę drugoplanową. Wraz z tytułem najlepszego filmu roku, produkcja ta otrzymał cztery nagrody.

W głównych kategoriach aktorskich nagrody zdobyli Jessie Buckley za rolę w „Hamnecie” i  Timothée Chalamet za „Wielkiego Marty’ego”. Tak mogą wyglądać ostateczne Oscary w tych kategoria. Za najlepszą kobiecą rolę drugoplanową doceniono Amy Madigan, która zagrała w filmie „Zniknięcia”. Nagrody aktorskie otrzymali też Josh O’Connor, Robert Aramayo i Alfie Williams.

Za najlepszy film brytyjski/irlandzki uznano „Pillion”, a jego twórca Harry Lighton został wybrany najlepszych brytyjski/irlandzkim debiutantem. Za najlepszy film zagraniczny uznano „Wartość sentymentalną”, wśród animacji wygrał „KPop Demon Hunters”, a za najlepszy pełnometrażowy dokument uznano „The Perfect Neighbor”. „Grzesznicy” zostali nagrodzeni za muzykę.
