„Nomadland” wygrywa Satelity

[SEZON NAGRÓD 2020/2021] International Press Academy (IPA) przyznała swoje doroczne nagrody. Za najlepszy film dramatyczny uznano „Nomadland”, a wśród komedii „The Forty-Year-Old Version”. Zdobywca największej liczby nominacji film „Mank”, obronił trzy nagrody (zdjęcia, scenografia i aktorka drugoplanowa).

„Nomadland” zdobył trzy nagrody, dla najlepszego dramatu, za rolę Frances McDormand i za reżyserię Chloe Zhoe. Wśród filmów międzynarodowych wygrała „La Llorona” z Gwatemali, wśród animacji „Wolfwalkers”, a wśród dokumentów „Kolektyw”. Nagrodzeni za role aktorskie to między innymi: Riz Ahmed za „Sound of Metal”, Maria Bakalova i Sacha Baron Cohen za „Borat Subsequent Moviefilm”,  Amanda Seyfried za „Mank”, pośmiertnie Chadwick Boseman za „Da 5 Bloods”. Najlepsze scenariusze to „Promising Young Woman” i „The Father”. „Tenet” nagrodzono za efekty wizualne, a za muzykę  „The Midnight Sky” (Alexandre Desplat).

W kategoriach telewizyjnych zwyciężyły m.in.: „The Good Lord Bird”, „Better Call Saul” i „The Haunting of Bly Manor” i „Schitt’s Creek”.
