Najlepsze SF, horrory, thrillery, kino akcji

Znani są już laureaci 52. edycji Nagród Saturn, a wśród laureatów znalazły się bardzo udane gatunkowe propozycje filmowe. Najlepszy film SF to „Diuna: Część druga”, wśród filmów fantasy wygrał „Beetlejuice Beetlejuice”, wśród horrorów „Obcy: Romulus”, a najlepszy film akcji to „Deadpool & Wolverine”. Bardzo trafne podsumowanie gatunkowego kina w minionym sezonie.

Wymienione filmy zdobyły po kilka wyróżnień, a druga „Diuna” przyniosła też uznanie za reżyserię Denisa Villeneuve’a, Rebecce Ferguson za rolę drugoplanową oraz za efekty wizualne. Cztery nagrody zdobył „Deadpool & Wolverine”, w tym za rolę Hugh Jackmana, ale też za montaż i scenografię. Cztery nagrody były też udziałem „Beetlejuice Beetlejuice”, w tym dla Jenny Ortegi i za muzykę Danny’ego Elfmana. Za najlepsze role aktorskie docenieni zostali Nicolas Cage w filmie „Dream Scenario” i Demi Moore za „Substancję”. Za najlepszą animację uznano „Dzikiego robota”, a wśród filmów międzynarodowych zwyciężył „Godzilla Minus One”. Saturny przyznano też w kategoriach telewizyjnych.
