Pięć nominacji do Emile Awards otrzymała polsko-hiszpańska
animacja „Jeszcze dzień życia”. Są to nagrody doceniające najważniejsze
europejskiej produkcje animowane. Polsko-hiszpańska animacja rywalizuje m.in. o
tytuł najlepszego pełnometrażowego filmu animowanego. Wśród nominowanych są też
krótkie polskie animacje.
„Jeszcze dzień życia” otrzymał nominacje w pięciu
kategoriach: Najlepsza Reżyseria, Najlepszy Scenariusz, Najlepszy Projekt
Postaci, Najlepsza Ścieżka Dźwiękowa, Najlepszy Dźwięk. Konkurentami „Jeszcze
dzień życia” są m.in. „Captain Morten and the Spider Queen” czy „The
Breadwinner”. „Jeszcze dzień życia" ma już na koncie cztery Nagrody
Publiczności (z festiwali w San Sebastian, Bolonii, Olsztynie i El Gouna). Jest
również w gronie czterech pełnometrażowych animacji nominowanych do
europejskiego Oscara – Europejskiej Nagrody Filmowej.
Wśród nominowanych do Nagród Emile są też polskie
krótkometrażowe animacje. Film „Na zdrowie!” Pauliny Ziółkowskiej otrzymał
nominację w kategorii doceniającej filmy studentów. Za walory techniczne
doceniono polsko-litewską koprodukcję „Ostatni przystanek księżyc” Birute
Sodeikaite. Emile Awards to nagrody, które mają na celu honorowanie
najciekawszych filmów animowanych powstających w Europie. Organizatorzy cenią
różnorodność i pomysłowość twórców, stąd aż 18 kategorii oraz jedna specjalna
za całokształt twórczości. W tym roku wyróżnienie im. Lotte Reiniger za życiowe
osiągnięcia trafi do Clare Kitson.
Laureatów pozostałych kategorii poznamy w trakcie uroczystej gali, która
odbędzie się 8 grudnia we francuskim Lille.
