[SEZON NAGRÓD 2017/2018] Gildia Aktorów Ekranowych (Screen Actors Guild) ogłosiła nominacje do swoich dorocznych nagród. Wiele wskazuje na to, że w większości dokładnie ci nominowani twórcy powalczą o Oscary. Najwięcej nominacji w kategoriach filmowych zdobyły „Trzy billboardy za Ebbing, Missouri”, a w telewizyjnych kategoriach nominacjom przewodzą „Wielkie kłamstewka”.
„Trzy billboardy za Ebbing, Missouri” zdobyły cztery nominacje,
w tym dla całej obsady oraz rolę pierwszoplanową Frances McDormand i dwie
drugoplanowe Woody’ego Harrelsona i Sama Rockwella. „Lady Bird” zdobyła trzy
nominacje, a “Get Out”, “I, Tonya”, “Mudbound”, “The Big Sick” i “The Shape of
Water” otrzymały po dwie nominacje.
Ciekawie prezentuje się grono najlepszych aktorów pierwszoplanowych,
wśród których znaleźli się: Timothée Chalamet, James Franco, Daniel Kaluuya, Gary
Oldman i Denzel Washington. Brak nominacji dla Toma Hanksa i Daniela Day-Lewisa
uznano za zaskoczenie. SAG postawiło jednak na dwóch młodych i stawiających
pierwsze kroki w Hollywood (Chalamet i Kaluuya). Grono najlepszych aktorek
pierwszoplanowych nie wywołało już takich kontrowersji, a nominacje otrzymały: Judi
Dench, Sally Hawkins, Frances McDormand, Margot Robbie, Saoirse Ronan. Mamy
tutaj więc dwie Brytyjki, Irlandkę i Australijkę… Nominacji nie zdobyły m.in.
Meryl Streep, Emma Stone i Jessica Chastain.
W kategoriach telewizyjnych na czele nominacji znaleźli się
aktorzy występujący w produkcjach Netflixa, którzy zdobyli 19 nominacji (m.in. The
Crown, Stranger Things, „GLOW”, „Orange is the New Black”). 12 nominacji
otrzymali aktorzy grający w produkcjach HBO (Wielkie kłamstewka, Gra o tron).
