Gildia Scenarzystów zaskoczyła swoimi nagrodami


[SEZON NAGRÓD 2018/2019] Gildia Scenarzystów Amerykańskich przyznała swoje doroczne nagrody i jej wyniki bardzo zaskoczyły obserwatorów oscarowego wyścigu. Nie będą miały one większego przełożenia na tegoroczne Oscary.

W dwóch najważniejszych kategoriach doceniono scenariusze do filmów “Eighth Grade” i “Can You Ever Forgive Me?”. Takiego finału tych nagród nikt się na pewno nie spodziewał. Wśród pokonanych znalazły się bowiem scenariusze do takich filmów, jak m.in. „Roma”, „Green Book”, „Vice”, „BlacKkKlansman” czy „Narodziny gwiazdy”. “Eighth Grade” zdobył nagrodę Gildii, a nie otrzymał nominacji do Oscara. Taka sytuacja miała miejsce po raz pierwszy od 2003 roku. W kategoriach telewizyjnych scenarzyści postawili na m.in. „Zawód: Amerykanin”, „Barry’ego” i “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel”. Nagrody scenarzystów przyznano po raz 71.
