International Press Academy ogłosiło laureatów do swoich dorocznych nagród. Satelity doceniły fajniej niż Oscary czy Złote Globy. Najlepsze filmy to „Belfast” i „Tick, Tick… Boom”, a do tego Kristen Stewart i Andrew Garfield.
IPA doceniło moje ulubione filmy, czyli „Belfast” i „Tick, Tick… Boom”. Ten drugi całkowicie wzgardzony przez Akademię. Nagrody aktorskie, także lepiej trafione. Bo Kristen Stewart i Andrew Garfield bardzo zasłużyli na wyróżnienia. Nie wiadomo jednak, czy wygrana Benedicta Cumberbatcha nie była efektem wybryku Willa Smitha na Oscara. Kilka nagród wydarzyło się zgodnie z planem: „Drive My Car”, „Encanto”, „Summer od Soul”, kilka wygranych „Diuny”.
