Nominacje Gildii Producentów

W tym momencie wszystkie karty zostały już rozdane i generalnie wiadomo, kto włącza się do rywalizacji o tytuł najlepszego filmu roku. Nominacje do swoich nagród ogłosiła Gildia Producentów Amerykańskich (PGA). W 10 najlepszych filmów są aż 4 sequele wielkich produkcji z Hollywood.

Nie znaczy to, że obyło się bez niespodzianek. Niektóre wybory Gildii Producentów wydają się oczywiste, jak nominacje dla „Avatara: Istoty wody”, „Duchów Inisherin”, „Elvisa”, „Wszystko wszędzie naraz”, „Fabelmanów”, „Tar”. Dość niespodziewanie nominację PGA zdobył „Wieloryb” i to mnie bardzo cieszy. Zastanawia mnie jednak tak silna reprezentacja kina przeznaczonego dla szerokiej widowni. Poza zasłużenie nominowanym „Avatarem”, nominacje zdobyły też „Czarna Pantera: Wakanda w moim sercu”, „Glass Onion” czy „Top Gun: Maverick”. I wszystkie te komercyjne przedsięwzięcia to sequele!

Nominacje PGA to bardzo dobra prognoza przed Oscarami. 7 z 10 laureatów nagród PGA, zdobyło później Oscara dla najlepszego filmu. I dlatego z uwagą odnotowano brak tytułów, które PGA w tym roku pominęło w swoich nominacjach. Najbardziej zaskakująca jest nieobecność „Aftersun”, ale nie ma tutaj też „She Said”, „The Woman King” i „Women Talking”. I wszystkie te filmy wyreżyserowały kobiety. To nie musi być jakieś celowe działanie… Mi zdecydowanie bardziej brakuje na liście najlepszych filmów „W trójkącie” i „Living”, które biją na głowę nominowane komercyjne produkcje.

W gronie najlepszych pełnometrażowych animacji znalazły się zdecydowanie tytuły faworyzowane. „Pinokio”, „Marcel Muszelka”, „Minionki: Wejście Gru”, „Kot w butach: Ostatnie życzenie” i „To nie wypanda”.

34. ceremonia wręczenia nagród PGA odbędzie się 25 lutego 2023 roku.
