[SEZON NAGRÓD 2017/2018] Prestiżowa Gildia Reżyserów Amerykańskich ogłosiła nominacje w kategoriach telewizyjnych oraz dokumentalnych. To 70 edycja tego wydarzenia. Wśród produkcji serialowych aż trzy nominacje zdobyli reżyserzy „Gry o tron”, którzy jednak konkurują z braćmi Duffer oraz faworyzowaną Reed Moreno, która nakręciła „Opowieść podręcznej”.
Z reżyserią seriali komediowych sytuacja jest znacznie
bardziej rozdrobiona. Nominacje otrzymali m.in. twórcy: „Master of None”, „Doliny
krzemowej” czy „Figurantka”. Są też nominacje dla twórców innych wysoko
cenionych seriali. Co ciekawe, w przeciwieństwie do dużych organizacji
doceniających prace reżyserów, Gildia Reżyserów nominowała prace bardzo wielu
kobiet.
