Organizatorzy Międzynarodowego
Festiwalu Filmowego w Cannes zaprezentowali program sekcji „Cannes Classics
Tegoroczna lista obejmuje 25
filmów fabularnych i siedem filmów dokumentalnych.
Michelangelo Antonioniego. Oba te filmy kończą w tym roku 60 lat. Cannes
uhonoruje też Federico Felliniego, w setną rocznicę jego urodzin. Na jego część
pokazane zostaną dwa filmy mistrza, La strada” i „Luci del varietà” oraz
dokument „Fellini of the Spirits” w reżyserii Anselma dell'Olio.
Has zrealizował ten imponujący film bazując na prozie Brunona Schulza. Surrealistyczna
Samodzielna decyzja Hasa
ściągnęła na niego gniew zwierzchników i zakaz reżyserii na kilka lat.
Cannes Classics zaprezentuje też
kilka mniej znanych filmów. Wśród nich będzie „Friendship’s Death” w reżyserii Petera
Wollena, w którym przełomową rolę zagrała w 1987 roku Tilda Swinton. Będzie też
„The Story of a Three-Day Pass”, debiut reżyserski Melvina Van Peeblesa. Wśród
propozycji dokumentalnych znalazły się: „Wim Wenders, Desperado” w reżyserii Erica
Friedlera i Andreasa Frege’a, „Charlie Chaplin, The Genius of Liberty” w
reżyserii François Aymé i Yvesa Jeulanda, poświęcony Bruce’owi Lee film Bao
Nguyena „Be Water” oraz „Belushi” w reżyserii R.J.
