Nominacje do Critics Choice Documentary

Critics Choice Association (CCA) ogłosiło nominacje do dorocznych nagród w kategoriach dokumentalnych. Najwięcej szans na nagród mają w tym roku filmy „Wulkan miłości” (siedem nominacji) i “Good Night Oppy” (sześć nominacji).

Bohaterowie filmu „Wulkan miłości” Katia i Maurice Krafft przez 25 lat podróżowali do wszystkich wulkanów, stając się najsłynniejszymi wulkanologami na świecie. Zginęli podczas wybuchu wulkanu w Japonii w 1991 roku W napisach na początku filmu pojawiają się wulkany z ich poetyckimi i równocześnie groźnymi nazwami. To celowy zabieg, bo ten film to prawdziwe love story o niezwykłym trójkącie miłosnym, w którym występuje francuskie małżeństwo Katii i Maurice’a Krafftów oraz wielbione przez nich wulkany. Para twierdziła, że są razem po części właśnie dzięki wspólnej miłości do wulkanów. Film ten dostępny jest w polskich kinach.

„Good Night Oppy” to kronika triumfalnej misji łazika marsjańskiego, produkcja ta niedługo będzie dostępna na Amazon Prime. 

Cieszy też obecność na liście nominowanej do nagrody za zdjęcia Magdy Kowalczyk, którą ponownie doceniono za pracę do filmu "Krowa". Laureatów nagród poznamy 13 listopada 2022.
