Nominacje do Independent Spirit Awards

Znane są już nominacje do Independent Spirit Awards 2025, a są to jedne z najważniejszych nagród w amerykańskim kinie niezależnym. Po sześć nominacji zdobyły filmy „Anora” i „I Saw the TV Glow”. Wśród nominowanych filmów zagranicznych znalazła się „Zielona granica” w reżyserii Agnieszki Holland. W kategoriach telewizyjnych najwięcej nominacji otrzymał „Szogun”.

„Anora” (nominacje także za reżyserię i trzy role aktorskie) i „I Saw the TV Glow” (nominacja także za reżyserię, scenariusz oraz dwie role aktorskie) o tytuł najlepszego filmu roku rywalizować będą z „Nickel Boys”, „Sing Sing” i „Substancja”. Zauważalny jest tutaj brak filmu „The Brutalist”, którego twórca Brady Corbet zdobył nominację za reżyserię i jest to jedyne wyróżnienie dla twórców tej produkcji. Inni nominowani za reżyserię to Ali Abbasi za “The Apprentice” i Alonso Ruizpalacios za “La Cocina”.

Independent Spirit Awards nie rozdzielają ról aktorskich na męskie i żeńskie, ale na pierwszo- i drugoplanowe. W tej pierwszej zmierzą się m.in. Amy Adams („Nightbitch”), Ryan Destiny („The Fire Inside”), Colman Domingo („Sing Sing”), Keith Kupferer („Ghostlight”), Demi Moore („The Substance”), Hunter Schafer („Cuckoo”), June Squibb („Thelma”) i Sebastian Stan („The Apprentice”).

Cieszy najbardziej nominacja dla „Zielonej granicy” w kategorii doceniającej filmy zagraniczne. Polska koprodukcja będzie miała silną konkurencję i będą to „All We Imagine as Light”, „Flow”, „Black Dog” i „Hard Truths”.
