Antologia animacyjna „Miłość,
śmierć i roboty” pojawi się w Netfliksie już 15 marca. Swoimi nazwiskami
firmują tę produkcję Tim Miller i David Fincher. Właśnie pojawił się nowy
zwiastun, który pokazuje nieco odważniejsze fragmenty tej produkcji. Pojawił
się też spis poszczególnych filmików. Za jeden z nich odpowiada polska firma
Platige Image.
Tim Miller powiedział o produkcji, że „łączy ona jego miłość
do animacji i niesamowitych historii”, że inspiracją dla niego były „Midnight
Movies, komiksy, książki i czasopisma fantastyczne”. Miller wraz Davidem
Fincherem i Joshem Donenem będą produkować „Love, Death & Robots”, który
realizowany ma być z myślą o starszym widzu.
Serial będzie zbiorem 18 animowanych opowieści, które
skorzystają z gatunków takich jak: fantastyka naukowa, fantasy, horror i
komedia. Pojawią się tutaj m.in. żołnierze-wilkołaki, pająki z kosmosu, demony
z piekła rodem i szalejące roboty. Style animacji mają być różne, od 2D do
fotorealistycznych CG. Każdy z 18 odcinków stworzony zostanie przez inne studio
produkcyjne i do grona tego zaproszone zostało polskie Platige Image.
