Nominacje do Cinema Eye Honors 2024

Kolejne nominacje do nagród podsumowujących sezon w filmach dokumentalnych. Najwięcej nominacji do Cinema Eye Honors zdobył film „Kokomo City”, ale wśród docenionych jest też „Apolonia, Apolonia” Lei Glob.

Cinema Eye Honors przyznane zostaną po raz 17. Debiutujący na festiwalu Sundance film „Kokomo City” o czarnoskórych transpłciowych pracownikach seksualnych otrzymał sześć nominacji. W czołówce docenionych filmów dokumentalnych znalazły się także „20 Days in Mariupol”, „32 Sounds” i “The Eternal Memory”, które otrzymały po pięć nominacji. Te cztery filmy zdobyły nominacje w najważniejszej kategorii dla pełnometrażowych dokumentów.

Wśród producentów najwięcej, bo aż 11 nominacji zdobył Netflix, a 10 nominacji otrzymały filmy firmy Magnolia Pictures. 8 nominacji otrzymał National Geographic, a po 7 nominacji HBO i Hulu.

W dwóch kategoriach nominacje zdobył film dokumentalny „Apolonia, Apolonia”, w obu doceniono bohaterkę tego filmu Apolonię Sokol.

Ceremonia wręczenia nagród odbędzie się 12 stycznia 2024 roku.
