[SEZON NAGRÓD] Critics’ Choice za dokumenty

California Typewriter
Organizacje skupiające krytyków i dziennikarzy filmowych, Broadcast Film Critics Association oraz Broadcast Television Journalists Association, ogłosiły nominacje do drugiej edycji Critics’ Choice Documentary Awards. Przyznawane są one najlepszym filmom i serialom dokumentalnym. Wręczenie nagród odbędzie się 2 listopada.

BFCA to największa organizacja skupiająca krytyków filmowych w Ameryce Północnej, a skupia ona ponad 300 osób. BTJA skupia 100 dziennikarzy, którzy pracują w telewizji, radiu i internecie. Coroczne Critics’ Choice, które przyznawane są także w kategoriach dotyczących filmów fabularnych, są bardzo dobrą zapowiedzą oscarowych zmagań.

W kategoriach doceniających osiągnięcia w dokumencie najwięcej nominacji, bo cztery otrzymał znany z naszych kin "Kedi - sekretne życie kotów", a po trzy nominacje otrzymały w tym roku: “California Typewriter”, “Chasing Coral”, “City of Ghosts”, “Cries From Syria” oraz “Dawson City: Frozen Time”. Po dwie nominacje zdobyły “Abacus: Small Enough to Jail” i “An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power”. Tegoroczną nagrodę doceniającą dorobek życia otrzyma Joe Berlinger.
