Pierwsze nagrody Emmy rozdane

Znani są już laureaci pierwszych nagród Emmy. Poznaliśmy wyróżnienia przyznawane za kreatywność głównie w dziedzinach technicznych. Przyznano też kilka nagród aktorskich oraz jedną nagrodę dla najlepszej produkcji przeznaczonej na mały ekran.

„Gra o tron” zdobyła na razie siedem nagród Emmy, a „The Assassination Of Gianni Versace: American Crime” otrzymał cztery nagrody. „Black Mirror: USS Callister” zdobył nagrodę dla najlepszego filmu telewizyjnego i jest to znakomita wiadomość. To był pierwszy odcinek czwartego sezonu „Black Mirror” i drugi rok z rzędu Netflix wygrywa tym serialem nagrodę w tej właśnie kategorii (przed rokiem "Black Mirror: San Junipero"). „Rick and Morty” zdobył nagrodę Emmy dla najlepszego programu animowanego. Wśród krótkich animacji wygrał „Robot Chicken”. Najlepszy oryginalny temat muzyczny stworzono do serialu „Godless”, a za muzykę do serialu uhonorowano „Grę o tron”. Tiffany Haddish i Katt Williams zdobyli nagrody za gościnne występy w komediowych serialach. Za gościnne występy w serialu dramatycznym doceniono Rona Cephasa za „This Is Us” i Samire Wiley za „Opowieść podręcznej”. Wszyscy laureaci nagród aktorskich w kategoriach gościnnych to afro-amerykanie. HBO zdobyło na razie 13 nagród, Netflix ma 10 nagród, a FX siedem.
