ogłosiła listę 112 filmów, których ścieżki z muzyką instrumentalną będą
rywalizowały o Oscara w kategorii Najlepsza Muzyka.
Na liście są m.in. trzy ostatnie
kompozycje, zmarłego w tym roku, Jamesa Hornera. Nie ma za to kilku cenionych
wysoko kompozycji, do m.in.: “Love & Mercy” (Atticus Ross), “Crimson Peak”
(Fernando Velázquez), “The Revenant” (Alva Noto and Ryûichi Sakamoto) i “Youth”
(David Lang).
